We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Brighton. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Education and Training: Orient, train, and mentor therapy and healthcare students to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement best practices to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Additional Responsibilities: Participate in departmental and organizational activities to achieve established objectives.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Skills: Basic skills in math and computer science, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge and Skills: Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques, effective problem-solving skills, and ability to work safely without risking injury to self or patients.
- Schedule and Flexibility: Maintain a variable work schedule to provide patient care, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and travel.
