Job Title: Lead Contract Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Contract Planner to join our team. As a key member of our project controls team, you will be responsible for the preparation, review, and reporting of accurate project schedules and plans in support of the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and plans in accordance with contractual requirements and company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure schedules and plans are documented and auditable, and that project schedules and plans are maintained and issued in a controlled manner.
  • Supervise and manage the Planning team, delegating work, reviewing team output, providing guidance and support, and managing the development of team members.
  • Act as the focal point for all aspects of planning support to the project team and client, managing communications interfaces essential for the delivery of the Planning team.
  • Identify areas of best practice and drive continuous improvement within the Planning team.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires an ISCED level 6 (Bachelors) Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience).
  • Relevant scheduling/planning experience, advanced knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software, and related tools and techniques.
  • Advanced understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities, excellent understanding of earned value application, cost and schedule variance analyses/trending, and what-if scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and techniques, Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management.
  • Significant prior experience in a senior planning role.
