We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parking Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our Parking Services team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol designated parking areas to identify and issue parking citations as necessary
- Work closely with the Civil Parking Enforcement Supervisor to ensure effective delivery of parking services
- Utilize handheld computers and Council systems to upload and download data, and to determine infringements
- Suspend and reinstate parking bays or places, including the installation or removal of signs and notices as requested
- Perform routine checks on parking equipment and report any repairs or maintenance required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Experience in enforcement and issuing penalty charge notices
- Extensive knowledge of Traffic Regulations Orders and parking legislation
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts
- Knowledge of car park equipment, including handheld devices and printers
