About the Role

Tailor Made Technologies is a trusted partner for transformative managed technology. We are seeking an experienced IT Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.

As an IT Project Engineer, you will be responsible for working on secure and complex projects, developing and supporting multiple internal and cloud-based infrastructures. You will collaborate with project managers, account managers, and technical consultants to deliver our bespoke projects to clients in a timely and professional manner.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and supporting Windows Server infrastructure (2008R2-2022)
  2. Implementing Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
  3. Configuring Exchange and Office365
  4. Managing VMware ESXi and NetScalers
  5. Deploying Microsoft Azure solutions
  6. Designing and implementing network architectures using Cisco and HPE Aruba
  7. Setting up Storage Area Networks with NetApp
  8. Implementing WiFi solutions with Meraki and Unifi
  9. Configuring backup solutions with Veeam, MSP Backup, and Datto
  10. Implementing security measures, including antivirus software, MFA, NPS, password policies, and GPO lockdown

Requirements:

  • Strong infrastructure skills and experience with Windows Server (Ideally 2008 R2 up to 2022)
  • Previous ownership of projects throughout their entire lifecycle ensuring all targets are met
