About the Role

AJ FOX COMPLIANCE is seeking an experienced In-House Risk Lawyer to join our dynamic team in London. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our firm and supporting our wider compliance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Strategic Legal Advice: Offer expert legal guidance to senior management on a variety of complex legal matters, ensuring that our firm remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks, ensuring that our firm is well-positioned to prevent future issues.
  • Conflict Resolution and Ethics: Provide support and guidance to team members on conflicts, ethics, financial crime, and professional standards, ensuring that our firm maintains the highest standards of integrity.
  • Insurance and Risk Management: Procure relevant insurance for the firm, liaising with brokers and insurers to ensure that our firm is adequately protected.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date documentation regarding partner relationships, including changes, departures, and other key events.
Requirements
