Clinical Leadership Consultant Psychiatrist

About the Role:
As a Clinical Leadership Consultant Psychiatrist at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, you will work closely with other consultant colleagues to provide clinical leadership and ensure a smooth patient journey. You will actively liaise with general practitioners, psychiatrists, and other hospital specialists to deliver high-quality patient care and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and actively liaise with general practitioners, psychiatrists, and other hospital specialists to deliver high-quality patient care and treatment.
- Be committed to a multidisciplinary approach to care and use evidence-based interventions at all times.
- Offer a consistent response to referrers/service users regardless of origin of the referral in a timely fashion.
- Attend Mental Health Act assessments as requested for relevant patients and act as the Responsible Clinician for inpatients.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of care programmes for patients and contribute to the collection of clinical information to ensure further service development and to enable audit.
