Job Description

The Lloyd's Market Association (LMA) is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join its team as an Insurance Market Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the insurance industry, working closely with experts in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the Legal and Regulatory team, providing support in contract review, legal input, and committee work.
  • Collaborate with wordings specialists to provide legal input on clauses for marine and non-marine committees.
  • Undertake horizon scanning on legal issues arising worldwide and assist in preparing responses to regulatory and legal consultations.
  • Provide legal and regulatory updates to the LMA membership.
Requirements
  • Excellent academic record, with completion of LPC or full SQE (parts 1 and 2) by August 2024.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to express yourself clearly and succinctly.
  • Passionate about the insurance industry and committed to helping the market succeed.
  • United in the pursuit of excellence, with a strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively.
