About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Client Solicitor to lead our Private Client department as Head of Private Client. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing client service, team management, business development, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and expand the Private Client department, covering Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Administration, Court of Protection, Deputyship management, IHT and Asset Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Compensation Trusts.
  • Oversee client service, team management, business development, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Private Client Solicitors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Private Client law and ensure that the team is aware of any relevant developments.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in Private Client law.
  • Proven track record in team management and leadership, with strong skills in business development, communication, problem-solving, and client relationships.
  • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
