Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Woodrow Mercer Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide short-term crisis support to individuals in their homes, helping to prevent hospital admissions.
  • Assess clients' needs and develop personalized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Offer support with personal care, medication reminders, end-of-life care, meal preparation, and emotional support.

Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent by experience)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and service users
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Knowledge of supporting individuals with disabilities and/or frailty
