About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join our Care Team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing effective supervision and leadership to a team of Support Workers, promoting positive outcomes for individuals with acquired brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of Support Workers to ensure high-quality care and support services are delivered to our customers.
  • Develop and implement person-centered care plans that promote maximum independence and achievement of individual aspirations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care services, including short-term rehabilitation and cognitive support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote excellence in care and support services.
  • Participate in on-call rota and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care, such as NVQ/SVQ level 3 or L4 NVQ/SVQ.
  • Experience in supervising a team and providing leadership in a care setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota.
