Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Neurodevelopmental Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert care and support to children and young people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and their families.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in working with children and young people with ADHD. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing education and support to families. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people with ADHD, including psychological and medical evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Provide education and support to families, including training on ADHD management and behavior modification techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, care plans, and progress.
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with a strong background in pediatric nursing.
- Experience working with children and young people with ADHD and their families.
- Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
