We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team at STERIS. As a key member of our Sterile Services department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment programs to ensure our staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for decontamination and sterile services staff, including practical technical training and theoretical assessments.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to ensure training is effective and meets the needs of our staff.
- Collaborate with our RTM and unit management to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Monitor and review progress of individual employees and report routinely to RTM and unit management.
- Ensure a safe and healthy training environment by following STERIS and other standards.
- Develop and maintain training records and matrices to ensure compliance with QMS systems.
- Level 3 qualification in Education and Training or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Sterile Services is essential.
- Previous experience of training, mentoring or coaching employees.
- Excellent practical skills in sterile services - reprocessing.
- Sound understanding of SOP's and QMS systems.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Ability to prioritise, plan and deliver training schedules.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of employees and adjust training according to needs.
