Job Title: Bank/Casual Front of House Tutor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Tutor to join our team at The Aurora Group. As a Bank/Casual Front of House Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering vocational training that supports business needs and develops the highest professional standards within Front of House.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate inspiring and engaging sessions that challenge and stretch every student.
  • Develop and implement robust assessments, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of student progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to analyse student performance and implement strategies to improve progress.
  • Provide professional, timely, and effective feedback to students, with clear next steps for improvement.
  • Lead and direct Learning Support Practitioners within sessions, ensuring their contribution to session evaluation and student assessments.
  • Contribute to the review and development of courses, schemes of work, and quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Education or equivalent.
  • Experience in vocational training, with a focus on Front of House.
  • Knowledge of assessing skills and knowledge using RARPA.
  • Ability to lead students and Learning Support Practitioners within vocational training.
  • Good understanding of quality assurance in an education or training setting.
