Job Description

Role Summary

The Department Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the management team and location in achieving excellence. This will involve managing the visual presentation of the store with a keen commercial awareness, to enhance performance. The successful candidate will also support the smooth running of the location by demonstrating the ability to use initiative and work unsupervised, and be a proactive ambassador of Ted Baker.

Main Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure the team delivers Ted Baker's standard of customer service with enthusiasm and consistency in all trading channels.
  • Sales and Loyalty
    • Use product knowledge and customer profiles to generate sales and increase customer loyalty to the brand. Maintain and exceed company sales KPI.
  • Task Management
    • Complete all tasks correctly and on time, and follow company policy and procedures.
  • Team Management
    • Effectively manage and adapt to different people and situations.
  • Brand Representation
    • Reflect the values of the brand in personal presentation and behavior, and demonstrate passion for the brand which is shared with others.
  • Merchandising and Replenishment
    • Follow merchandising principles and replenishment guidelines in store to ensure that the brand is represented at the highest level.
  • Training and Development
    • Support the team in ensuring excellent participation and proactively use and deliver training.
  • Target Achievement
    • Drive the team to achieve current targets and promotions. Ensure they are aware of company campaigns in store and online.
  • Market Awareness
    • Have a keen awareness of the local market and be able to develop client opportunities.
  • Store Operations
    • In the absence of the Location Manager and Deputy Manager, be confident in all daily store operations.
  • Safety and Security
    • Observe safety and security procedures. Report any misuse or theft of stock to a member of management.
  • Digital Focus
    • A strong digital focus with the ability to embrace, understand and drive new initiatives from concept to implementation, helping support new ways of selling and brand profile enhancements.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience
    • Previous sales and team management/supervisory experience.
