About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to join our Intensive Personalised Support (IPS) team as a Service Excellence Professional. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our service and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for our service users.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Behaviour Support Workers, ensuring seamless service delivery, and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with our Head of Service and Service Lead to develop and implement strategies that enhance our service offerings and promote positive outcomes for our service users.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Behaviour Support Workers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Develop and implement service delivery schedules and rotas to ensure adequate coverage and effective resource allocation.
  • Represent the IPS service in meetings with commissioners, social care professionals, and other key stakeholders, showcasing our expertise and promoting collaborative working.
  • Facilitate regular team handovers and meetings to ensure continuity of care and service delivery.
  • Assist the IPS management team in ongoing service development and improvement, identifying areas for growth and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from service users and stakeholders to inform service enhancements and quality improvements.
  • Builtn and maintain strong relationships with external partners to support service growth and development.
  • Conduct initial needs assessments and provide guidance on service referrals, ensuring seamless transitions into our care pathway.
  • Implement behavioural interventions and conduct support sessions as required, utilising your expertise to drive positive change.
  • Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, such as TAC, safeguarding, EHCP, CIN, and other relevant professional discussions.
  • Provide behavioural advice, guidance, and consultation to families, support staff, and professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

Educated to NVQ2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) as a minimum.Experience of working with children and families in crisis, ideally within a multidisciplinary team setting.Working within Health and Social Care for a minimum of 2 years, demonstrating a commitment to continued professional development.Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels, with individuals, groups, organisations, and the public.Ability to deal calmly and effectively with conflict, prioritising de-escalation techniques and empathetic listening.Emotional intelligence and resilience, with a focus on maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including:
