About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our client's biofuel obligations in both the UK and Ireland are met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of biofuel regulations and a proven track record of working with government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate the monthly biofuel obligation in the UK and Ireland.
  • Track the physical fossil and biofuel content of all product movements throughout the supply chain using oil accounting systems.
  • Validate and reconcile obligated sales.
  • Identify any discrepancies in data and work with internal or external parties to resolve differences.
  • Certificate claim process and certificate balance.
  • Maintain and follow procedures required to support trading of physical biofuel, including the issuing of carbon and sustainability data.
Requirements
  • Degree-educated preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of biofuel regulations and government agencies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
