About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineering Team Lead to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our critical applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions to operational problems.
  • Assess and improve the quality and efficiency of deliverables, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain a skilled, engaged, and empowered team, ensuring that our processes and technology are efficient and effective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve system uptime and stability, and to reduce manual intervention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive improvements in our technical operations.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience leading engineering teams in the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
  • Strong technical skills, with a focus on software development, DevOps, and system administration.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
