Technology Director for Developer Environments

As a Technology Director for Developer Environments, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our developer experiences are seamless and intuitive, meeting the needs of our ecosystem partners and customers.
Job OverviewYou'll lead the strategy and design for our investment and contributions into developer environments, driving the development of tools, utilities, and command-line interfaces that make it easy for developers to build products on Arm platforms. Collaborating closely with multi-discipline teams, you'll define product and technology roadmaps, coordinate with product marketing colleagues, and prioritize development efforts based on developer needs.
Responsibilities- Champion an outstanding experience for developers, engaging with internal and external developers to understand their needs and drive the delivery of useful developer content.
- Frame and rationalize the most meaningful problems and jobs to be done, inventing new solutions where required and supporting initial proof-of-concept work.
- Work with lead partners and developers to deliver developer environment and service roadmaps, making prioritization decisions for engineering and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Guide internal multi-discipline teams on priorities, becoming an authority in our editor-based tools and supporting engineering in design approaches to challenge and grow their capability.
- Drive the need and review of metrics for our solutions, providing insights for decision-making, usage, and developer feedback.
We're looking for a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience on diverse projects and developer environments, as well as a strong understanding of developer communities and individual developer needs. You'll also have experience with performance modeling, profiling, debugging, and code optimization, as well as outstanding communication skills and the ability to deliver clarity from complexity.
Nice to HaveA degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, such as electronic engineering or computer science, would be beneficial, as would experience with analytical tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, or Microsoft Azure Analytics, and a background in product management or responsibilities for a software product.
