Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative curriculum that meets the needs of our diverse student population. You will also lead and manage a team of teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent teaching and learning practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that includes BGE Health and Wellbeing common courses, BGE Outdoor Learning programme, and S3 Pathways.
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a meaningful core PE offer throughout the school.
  • Support the DYW agenda by linking Health and Wellbeing to workforce intelligence and vocational opportunities for young people.
Requirements

The successful candidate must possess:

  • Full GTCS Registration (General)
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • PVG Membership

We offer a competitive salary package, reflecting the importance we place on attracting and retaining top talent. The estimated annual salary for this role is £62,022.
