Job Title: Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Corporate Services Division, you will play a vital role in shaping our service delivery and making a significant impact in the challenging financial environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive financial advice and support to managers to understand the efficiency and effectiveness of resources within their control.
  • Support the Corporate Services Division in providing financial guidance and expertise to ensure optimum value for money is achieved.
  • Liaise closely with Divisional and Trust stakeholders to utilise your financial acumen to support in the development of annual plans, forecasts, and identification of key risks and mitigations to delivery of the plan.
  • Involve in influencing business decisions by providing support and challenge in the development of business cases for investment.

Requirements:

  • Working towards CCAB/CGMA qualification.
  • Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role.
  • A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post, however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
  • Knowledge of NHS finance and business planning regimes.
  • Appointing and managing staff.
  • Working with computerised financial systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience of using Capita Integra General Ledger.
  • Crystal Reporting.
  • ESR (Electronic Staff Record).

  • Excellent written & report writing skills and have the ability to convey complex financial issues to non-Finance managers.
  • Teaching skills for training non-Finance managers.
  • Possess excellent negotiating & influencing skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative but integrate within the team.
  • Able to keep abreast of developments in the Trust and the wider NHS that may impact on the department.
