Job Summary:

Brownlee Cale is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Mechanical Technician to join our team at our Gypsum/Plaster recycling plant in Rotherham. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment, including crushers, screens, magnets, and conveyors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment, including loading shovels and telehandlers
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mobile plant maintenance

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in heavy industrial equipment maintenance
  • Competent in repair and maintenance of mobile plant equipment
  • NVQ Level 3 Mechanical qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
