Job Summary

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community.

The successful candidate will provide direct 1:1 support to students, helping them with academic tasks and ensuring they understand the material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with their learning activities, both in the classroom and in one-on-one sessions.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and Special Educational Needs Coordinator to implement individualized education plans and support strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
Requirements
  • Passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children with autism.
