Financial Accountant

SF Recruitment Limited t/a SF Group is seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, group financial statements, and ensuring accurate consolidation of financial data across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Tax & Statutory Reporting: Oversee the preparation of corporation tax returns, capital allowances, VAT submissions, and statutory accounts for the group.
- Process Improvement: Design and implement effective financial controls, driving continuous improvement in systems and processes.
- Collaboration: Work with local finance teams, external auditors, and business partners to provide insights, challenge results, and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Business Support: Provide technical expertise for key business projects, including acquisitions, business restructuring, and new ventures.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience in group reporting, statutory accounts, and financial operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, group consolidation, tax regulations, and international trade.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex financial data, identify risks, and propose effective solutions.
- Communication: Skilled at building relationships and explaining financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
