We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Supervisor to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of projects, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Project Delivery: Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including sub-contractor management and site supervisory duties.
- Risk Management: Identify, track, manage, and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring minimal impact on quality, budget, and timeline.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project activities are well-coordinated and aligned with client expectations.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with QHSE processes, including the Construction Phase Plan, and implement measures to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Commercial Awareness: Understand pricing models, cost, and sales procedures, and assist in managing scope creep through client change orders and internal change orders.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years proven supervisory experience in an M&E, FM, construction, or critical environment.
- Qualifications: Compliant with the training matrix for Project Site Supervisor, recognized technical qualification in construction, Mechanical or Electrical, or similar, and business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy.
- Skills: Ability to plan and organize labour, equipment, and work schedule, strong influencing and negotiation skills, ability to deliver projects on time and on budget, and awareness of contractual terms and Project Management processes.
- Understanding QHSE and regulatory standards: Understanding of QHSE and relevant regulatory standards and regulations.
- Construction methods and practices: Understanding of construction methods and practices.
- Responsiveness: Ability to respond promptly to project requirements and changes.
- Competence to deliver: Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Innovation: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to project challenges.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and integrity: High degree of reliability and integrity, with a strong commitment to ethical business practices.
- Commercial awareness: Understanding of commercial principles and practices, including pricing models, cost, and sales procedures.
