Job Summary

Dar is seeking a highly-driven and talented Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our Water and Environment Department. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects, often from planning and design to construction and final handover, in multiple countries across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and model water and infrastructure networks, including water transmission and distribution networks, sewer and drainage networks, hydraulic structure designs, hydrology, and surface water modeling.
  • Prepare design drawings, specifications, and other documents.
  • Engage with stakeholders and understand societal, economic, and logistic issues connected to water infrastructure design.
  • Learn design standards and criteria of municipalities and regulatory authorities in countries of operation.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.


Requirements
  • Experience in modeling and designing water and infrastructure networks.
  • Demonstrated track record of preparing design drawings and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of stakeholder engagement and societal issues.
  • Ability to learn design standards and criteria of regulatory authorities.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with Arabic, French, or Portuguese a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and industry-standard software programs.
