About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operative to join our team in Luton, working on our Housing Multiple Occupants contract. As a key member of our local team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service and support to our customers, ensuring a stable and profitable contract.

The successful candidate will carry out tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures, meeting commercial requirements for number of visits, quality, service user satisfaction, cost, and timing. You will work within a controlled H&S environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure commercial requirements are met.
  • Seek authorisation from relevant office-based approver before proceeding if work required differs from works order.
  • Utilise existing stock or collect materials as and when required to meet works orders.
  • Complete and maintain all paperwork and electronic data records relevant to work carried out.
  • Able and willing to attend training sessions.
  • Adopt a professional manner when communicating with service users and/or client/external contacts.
  • Highlight any safeguarding concerns to the relevant customer and community officer within branch.
  • Use and maintain company vehicle/van in accordance with company vehicle and insurance policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Block Management.
  • Experience in PPM'S.
  • Experience in Cleaning.
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication.
  • Good Customer Service skills.
  • Good Knowledge of Health and Safety.
