Facilities Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Site Manager to join our team at Dunbar Education. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of our school premises and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and carry out regular checks, inspections, and repairs on school premises, including classrooms, grounds, and equipment.
Conduct routine risk assessments, fire drills, and liaise with health and safety authorities as required.
Coordinate with and oversee external contractors, ensuring that work is completed to high standards and within budget.
Manage maintenance budgets, school equipment, and inventory, making recommendations for necessary improvements and repairs.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a facilities or site management role, ideally within an educational or similar environment.
Basic proficiency in building maintenance skills, such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
Relevant qualifications in facilities management, health and safety, or site management are desirable.
DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo necessary checks) is required.
