About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Coordinator to join our team at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital. As a key member of our Oncology Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient appointments, including clinics and chemotherapy sessions
  • Greet and escort patients to their appointments
  • Organize and prepare consultant clinics
  • Arrange port insertions, blood transfusions, and other relevant procedures
  • Coordinate the Breast service
  • Chase CT, MRI, and PET scan appointments and results
  • Update COSHH folders
  • Answer telephone calls and direct patient queries to the relevant department
  • Minute meetings and ensure all notes are filed and archived
  • Liaise with consultants and secretaries regarding patients
Requirements
  • Experience in a customer service-focused environment
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Approachable and able to adapt to different situations
  • Team player with exceptional planning and organization skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional time-keeping
  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment
  • Flexible and 'can-do' attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent IT skills, with proven skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
