Aftersales Service Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Aftersales Service Engineer to join our team at ASC Connections Ltd. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and repairing special purpose machinery nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel nationwide to install and commission special purpose machinery
  • Carry out breakdown maintenance repairs, both electrically and mechanically
  • Perform routine service and inspection visits
  • Fault find on Allen Bradley PLCs to identify and rectify issues
  • Provide end-user support, training, and equipment demonstrations
  • Travel nationwide, including overnight stays, for installation projects
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a field service engineer in capital equipment or heavy industry machinery
  • HNC or HNC in electrical or electronic engineering
  • Strong understanding of PLCs and fault-finding skills
  • Knowledge of power supplies, controls, and electrical test equipment
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide, with occasional overnight stays
  • Clean driver's license
What We Offer:
  • Basic salary of up to £44K depending on experience
  • OTE of £70K+ with door-to-door sales
  • Overtime paid at Time & 1⁄2 after 40 hours during the week and Saturday
