The office location will be in the West Midlands, with support for another site in the Dudley area. The successful candidate must be CIPD Level 5 qualified and able to commence work early in the new year. The salary for this role is up to £55,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and implement company policies in line with current legislation and business needs.
  • Oversee all HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, managing leavers, terminations, and redeployments, and enhancing absence management processes.
  • Manage the time and attendance system to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
  • Coach and guide managers on various people-related issues, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing managerial effectiveness.
  • Be prepared for occasional travel and overnight stays as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • CIPD Qualification: Essential
  • HR Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a generalist HR role
  • Retail Experience: Preferred but not essential; must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Standalone Role Experience: Must have experience working independently in an HR capacity
