Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at Culina Group. As a Customer Controller, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional contract support and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate creation of customer orders on our in-house system, ESL, to meet customer requirements.
  • Liaise with Planning Teams to ensure consignments are collected and delivered to customer specifications.
  • Monitor customer delivery compliance, investigating late and failed deliveries to satisfactory conclusions.
  • Proactively report accurate information, seeking guidance from the CS Manager when necessary.
  • Learn and utilize customer-specific systems to enhance service delivery.
  • Capture and report additional costs accurately within agreed timeframes.
  • Complete reports, such as customer dashboards and discrepancy reports, as required.
  • Ensure accurate rating of consignments to our Commercial rate card and within agreed timescales.
  • Complete a daily task list to confirm all requirements are fulfilled before the end of the day.
  • Support the Customer Service team as needed.

Requirements

  • GCSE grade 'C' or above in Maths and English.
  • Equivalent of 5 GCSE grade 'C' or above.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment.
  • Good geographical or transport knowledge.
  • Good numeracy and literacy level to carry out tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft systems, particularly Excel and Outlook.
