Job Title: Band 7 MRI Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team at the Royal Free Hospital. As a Band 7 MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct MRI scans and produce high-quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI safety principles and protocols
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • DCR (R) or BSc Diagnostic Radiography qualification
  • HCPC registration
  • Post Graduate Certificate in MRI
  • IV Cannulation Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
