Job Title: Band 7 MRI Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our Radiology team at the Royal Free Hospital. As a Band 7 MRI Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in MRI imaging and a proven track record of producing high-quality images. You will work closely with our team of experienced radiographers and medical staff to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI scans and produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment
  • Work collaboratively with the radiology team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality imaging services
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of MRI safety principles and protocols
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance programs to ensure high-quality imaging services
Requirements
  • DCR (R) or BSc Diagnostic Radiography qualification
  • HCPC registration
  • Post Graduate Certificate in MRI
  • IV Cannulation Certificate
  • Experience working in a busy MRI department
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
