Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to the Renal Care Group, ensuring the provision of high-quality, safe, and comprehensive pharmaceutical services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the renal pharmacy team
  • Developing and implementing guidelines and policies for drug use
  • Providing regular financial reporting and drug usage forecasting
  • Identifying opportunities for service development and improvement
Main Duties

The post holder will:

  • Act as a specialist role model and expert in renal medicine
  • Develop and implement treatment pathways with colleagues across South East London
  • Motivate and support the renal pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Collaborate with senior healthcare professionals to achieve service excellence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered pharmacist qualification (MRPharmS)
  • A postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or pharmacy practice
  • Experience in supervising others and managing change
  • An advanced level of clinical reasoning and judgment

Kings College Hospital offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £70,387 per annum, rising to £80,465 per annum upon completion of a probationary period.
