The Student Success Guide is a vital role at Northern VA Community College, connecting students with academic and non-academic programs and services. As a friendly and approachable conduit, you will raise student awareness of support services, enhancing their sense of belonging and retention at NOVA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and retain extensive knowledge of NOVA programs and support services
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Respond quickly to student requests and track outcomes
- Serve a diverse community of students with caring and respect
- Promote collaboration and teamwork in a student-centered environment
- Solve problems using analytical and critical thinking skills
Requirements:
- Experience in an educational setting
- Customer service experience
- Workshop and/or event planning experience
- Collaborative experience with support services
- Microsoft Office experience
