Job Summary

Dumfries Academy is a six-year comprehensive school with a strong focus on providing a stimulating and engaging learning environment for its students. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Principal Teacher Curriculum to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the curriculum development and implementation in the Faculty of Mathematics, Numeracy and Technologies. This will involve working closely with colleagues to design and deliver a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the curriculum in the Faculty of Mathematics, Numeracy and Technologies
  • Work closely with colleagues to design and deliver a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our students
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coherent and planned transition for learners

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and numeracy, with experience of leading curriculum development and implementation. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
