TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Accounts & Tax Assistant Manager / Manager to join their team in Hailsham. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the partners of the firm, providing a broad range of accounting and tax services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and produce accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Manage company filings and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Prepare and review management accounts, providing insights and recommendations.
* Handle company secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory books and records.
* Manage both corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
* Complete and submit VAT returns for clients.
* Directly support one of the practice's directors, liaising with clients on a regular basis.

**Requirements:**

* Proficiency in accounting software, including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and preferably IRIS.
* Strong background in general practice, with extensive knowledge of both corporate and personal taxes.
* Ideally, ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.

**Benefits:**

* Competitive salary up to 60,500 per year.
* No less than 24 hours per week.
