A prominent Investment Management firm, managing assets exceeding £10 billion, is seeking a dedicated Investment Fund Controller to enhance their financial team. This position focuses on overseeing their infrastructure fund within the investment management sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of fund management reports and analyze investment performance metrics.
- Review and finalize the annual statutory accounts and coordinate the audit process.
- Oversee investor activities including drawdowns, distributions, and equalisations, along with comprehensive investor reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with third-party fund administrators.
- Engage with the asset management team to provide insights on fund performance.
- Conduct financial due diligence on prospective investments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must hold a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Additionally, candidates should possess:
- Experience in auditing Private Equity funds or in-house fund accounting with a service provider.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across various teams.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
