About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trust and develop nurturing relationships with service users to promote their independence, well-being, and strengths.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and other domestic tasks.
  • Accurately document information and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Promote and maintain a safe environment for young people.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve this within the required timeframe.
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people in a children's home setting.
  • Flexibility to commit to shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
