Assistant Hotel Manager

As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in leading, coaching, and motivating our hotel teams to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Room and Communal Area Maintenance: Ensure that rooms and communal areas are cleaned to the highest standards, adhering to our company's best practices.
  • Food and Beverage Operations: If working in a Bar Cafe hotel, ensure that food is prepared and presented to our brand standards, and maximize food and beverage sales through effective cross-selling and upselling techniques.
  • Customer Feedback and Action Plans: Review customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted action plans to enhance the customer experience.
  • Team Development and Recruitment: Work with team members to create personal development plans, recruit motivated team members, and ensure they receive a warm induction.
  • Reporting and Maintenance: Oversee any repairs or maintenance needed, and report on these to ensure timely resolution.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Manage rotas, handle banking, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

As an ideal candidate, you will have experience as an Assistant Manager or equivalent in a customer-facing industry, with a proven track record of leading teams. Experience in food and beverage operations is advantageous but not essential. If you are a current Travelodge employee, you must demonstrate the necessary criteria for this role.
