We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our medical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to medical team, including managing diaries, planning meetings, and updating records.
- Assist with confidential paperwork, service users' records, and GP letters.
- Liaise with external agencies to obtain up-to-date information on service users and GP letters.
- Record and track blood test results.
- Support the Registered Clinician with letters and general documentation.
- Minute-take at meetings chaired by the Medical Director, SMT, or ad hoc.
- Receive, record, type, check, and amend documents for spelling and grammatical errors, completing tasks within given deadlines.
- Participate in the administration, development, and evaluation of regulatory matters.
- Coordinate the hospital diary and the whereabouts of clinicians.
- Book meetings and arrange conference calls.
- IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience of audio typing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent.
- Knowledge of mental health and medications.
- Annual salary of £24,766 (pro rata).
