Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering department. As an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned maintenance, service, and reactive repair work for all electro-mechanical equipment. Your role will involve recommending and implementing improvements to enhance production efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety standards in all activities and promote safe working practices.
- Maintenance Schedules: Deliver periodic and condition-based preventative maintenance schedules for all electro-mechanical equipment to maintain high levels of reliability and maximise efficiency.
- Reactive Service and Repair: Conduct 1st Level reactive service and repair work, diagnosing issues promptly and efficiently, utilising OEM/third party support where required.
- Engineering Expertise: Work with operations teams to offer engineering expertise in the design and delivery of improvements for electro-mechanical equipment.
- Risk Assessments: Undertake risk assessments for all electro-mechanical equipment in liaison with the Engineering Manager.
- Professional Development: Maintain professional competence, including training and development as appropriate.
- Procedure and Maintenance Records: Ensure procedure and maintenance records are maintained and audit technical support documentation for accuracy and availability.
- Technical Spares and Consumables: Catalogue and audit technical spares and consumables, making recommendations and undertaking spares ordering as required.
- Qualifications: Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Understanding of PLC Programming: Understanding of PLC programming logic.
- Electrical and Mechanical Aptitude: Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and controls.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer Literacy: Computer literacy, encompassing current MS Office Applications.
- Experience: Experience in high-quality and high-volume environments, with secure and safe systems of working (highly desirable).
- CMMS Systems: Experience with CMMS systems (desirable).
