Assistant Property Manager

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Assistant Property Manager role for a reputable estate agency in the industry, who deals with properties throughout various regions. They have gained an excellent reputation for selling and letting quality homes, and they pride themselves on being experts within the Estate Agency industry.

This role will include working alongside the Property Manager, so the successful candidate must possess 1 + years' experience in property management, as well as a full UK licence, and access to their own car.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of 150 properties
  • Carry out viewings with prospective tenants
  • Be a point of contact for ongoing client care
  • Liaise with customers and clients in a professional, polite and respectful manner
  • Handle daily enquiries via calls, emails and visits
  • Arrange the Inventory Check Ins of new properties and arrange Check Outs
  • Oversee any snagging issues at the beginning of the tenancy
  • Deal with day-to-day property maintenance issues and queries
  • Organise renewal of safety certificates and remedial works during the tenancy
  • Carry out mid-term property visits in line with the terms of business
  • Manage the end of tenancy, including the return of deposits
  • Deal with Tenancy Agreements and renewal paperwork
  • Comply with all current legislation affecting the business
  • Ensure all management systems are kept up to date and maintained

Requirements:

  • 1 years + experience in Property Management
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, Power Point, Word, etc
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • A good understanding of the lettings offer process and be confident in putting offers to clients
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a busy environment as part of a team
  • Strong organisation skills and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Have a 'can-do' attitude and adopt a proactive approach
  • Happy to take the initiative, responsibility and ownership
  • Outstanding customer service skills
