About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Room Manager to join our team at Daish's Holidays. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining rooms, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily front and back of house restaurant operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to any guest dissatisfaction, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a positive reputation.
  • Organize and supervise staffing for twice-daily meal times, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient service delivery.
  • Mentor new waiting staff on operational procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and consistency.
  • Greet and serve guests with food and drinks, taking orders and passing them to kitchen staff or bar assistants.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff in the dining room and effectively communicate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Utilize active listening and effective communication skills to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of management experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • 1 year of restaurant management experience, with a proven track record of success.
