Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Educator to join our team at The Recruitment Co. as a Recycling Educator/Waste Management Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering small to medium behavioural change projects, education, and awareness campaigns across the locality, and supporting the environmental development of operational services in the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental education programs to promote recycling and waste reduction practices
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Design and deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate employees and the public on environmental issues
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in waste management and recycling practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups, schools, and other stakeholders to promote environmental awareness and education
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on environmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Education, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in environmental education, waste management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently
