Main Responsibilities:

  • Exemplary Representation
    • Ensure your general appearance and attitude are always professional and courteous.
  • Problem-Solving
    • Take initiative to resolve issues that may arise during deliveries or collections.
    • Work collaboratively with customers and the company to achieve a positive outcome.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and polite when interacting with customers.
    • Ensure deliveries are not left unattended unless prior authorisation has been given by the depot.
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle before setting off and record any defects.
  • Physical Demands
    • Be able to move heavy objects around inside the lorry.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Skills
    • Hold a valid HGV 1 or 2 licence with a digital tacho and CPC card.
    • Have no more than 6 points on your licence and no convictions for DD, DR, or INT endorsements.
    • Be willing to take a driving assessment with the client prior to placement if necessary.
  • Working Hours
    • Be available to work days, Mondays to Fridays, and weekend shifts.
