This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to develop their skills in community rehabilitation, working with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an Occupational Therapy service of the highest possible standard, assessing clients' physical, cognitive, perceptual, psychological, and social functioning, and determining their level of function and suitability for admission to programmes for rehabilitation.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in one or more of the following areas: orthopaedics, rehabilitation, neurology, older adults, falls, and paediatrics.
  • Experience in assessing and treating children or adults with physical conditions and complex multi-pathologies.
  • Experience of providing physical rehabilitation to clients with cognitive deficits.
