SEN Teaching Assistant

Role Overview:
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to work with our partnered secondary school as a teaching assistant for students with SEN. The successful candidate will provide key support to students within mainstream and one-to-one capacities up to Key stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities.
- Take responsibility for the emotional and physical needs of the young people in your care, supporting them to develop as individuals and engage with the world.
- Work with individuals and small groups of students within a classroom situation to ensure each child has the maximum access to all learning activities.
Requirements:
- Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need.
- Have a responsive and caring approach.
- Add value to a team built on great teamwork and mutual support.
- Be a driven, ambitious individual who will take part in CPD to further develop yourself as an education professional.
