Civil Engineering Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Site Manager to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of a large site, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to site teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all site activities are carried out in a safe and healthy manner, complying with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Quality: Ensure that all site activities are carried out to the highest quality standards, meeting customer expectations and company requirements.
  • CDM Regulations: Ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with CDM regulations, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all personnel on site.
Requirements:
  • CSCS Card: Hold a valid CSCS card.
  • SMSTS: Hold a valid SMSTS certificate.
  • Experience: Have extensive experience in installing fencing around major gas pipelines.
  • Leadership Qualities: Possess strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire site teams.
  • Project Management Experience: Have experience in project management, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and control site activities.
