Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Coordinator to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Central Booking department, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional booking experience for our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage patient pathways, ensuring timely booking of appointments, surgeries, and follow-up appointments.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to discuss capacity and demand, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Process cancellations, manage clinic schedules, and optimize slot utilization.
  • Administer the Referral Assessment Services, Appointment Slot Issues, and cancellations through our local patient administration system Lorenzo.
Requirements
  • GCSE grade C/4 in English Language and Maths.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office and strong aptitude in the use of other programs and administration systems.
  • Experience working in an administrative environment, with knowledge of issues related to working with confidential information and understanding of the need for confidentiality and information governance.
